‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 7: Charlie Hunnam, Theo Rossi, more sign on for Comic-Con
If you’ve enjoyed some past “Sons of Anarchy” panels at Comic-Con (or at least watching them after the fact), then this should get your motor running a little bit: The cast will be back for what will be their final panel before the end of the show.
The date of this panel will be Sunday, July 27, which comes as little surprise since the FX series typically has its event on the final day of the San Diego convention. It will run from 12:30 p.m. Pacific until 1:30, and will be held in the enormous Hall H that is so big, our previous adjective really does not do it justice. All of the biggest shows and movies hold their panels here.
As for the cast members appearing, the likes of Katey Sagal, Kim Coates, Mark Boone Junior, Tommy Flanagan, Theo Rossi, Dayton Callie, and Jimmy Smits will be there along with showrunner / creator Kurt Sutter and executive producer Paris Barclay. Where’s Charlie Hunnam? He will be present in satellite form, which is something that we have seen Jim Parsons and some other actors do at the convention before when they were not able to physically attend.
This panel will most likely be informative and very entertaining, though we admit that we’ll miss Maggie Siff and convention legend Ron Perlman as a part of it. Why couldn’t Sutter organize his entire show around the people we want to see at Comic-Con every year? Yes, this is sarcasm … but we figure that Ron will still make plenty of convention appearances in the future.
The new season of “Sons of Anarchy” will return to FX this September, and we’ll of course have more news before then. You can for now read some other headlines pertaining to the show at the link here, and also sign up today to get further TV updates on all we cover via our CarterMatt Newsletter.
