‘Big Brother 16’ live feed spoilers: Nominations, a Battle of the Block, and insanity
For those of you who decided to stay up into the wee hours, you most likely got some of the most entertaining “Big Brother” live feeds that you have in some time. Not only did we learn about the nominations, but there were promises, controversy over rules being allegedly broken, and the Battle of the Block competition that had an interesting theme to it, as well.
First of all, can we start a hashtag #BlamePaola for all those who really did not want to see Devin staying in power this week? He nominated her and Brittany, and she made an agreement with him to throw the Battle of the Block (at least seemingly) for safety later. She wants to be able to name the replacement nominee, but that isn’t happening. (It will most likely be Victoria.)
As for Amber, who is already no longer HoH, she nominated both Nicole and Hayden, but these two ended up going on to win the competition. The controversy came in how Devin was telling various people this and that, and there are technically some rules regarding how much you are allowed to tell potential nominees prior to them going on the block. We feel like Devin actually did break it with Paola, but the show never really enforces this much.
If Devin does get to remove Paola with the Power of Veto, he claims that Victoria will be his replacement. He wants to basically get rid of these two women, and then claims that they will have a relatively drama-free environment. Unfortunately for us, this week is going to be pretty drama-free thanks to Devin being in power. The only way that there was to screw him would have been had Amber been able to nominate first, and had she nominated people so weak that they would have been able to beat both Paola and Brittany. If Paola really did throw it, though, that would have been very difficult. Even with all of this, the stars still would have aligned almost perfectly if Amber was to backdoor Devin.
There was a lot of other random fun stuff that happened throughout the night, from Hayden running amok in the bug costume screaming heavy-metal lyrics to Zach continue to rant about Victoria.
