‘The Walking Dead’ season 5 spoilers: Norman Reedus promises big things
We assume that if you are a fan of “The Walking Dead,” you were already beyond excited for season 5. It may not be airing for several months, but that should not stop the excitement just yet … especially when that level of excitement is coming from Norman Reedus.
When Norman says something, we buy it since the man behind Daryl Dixon has never steered us wrong. Plus, he has a crossbow and we would be terrified to go against him for that reason and that reason alone. He spoke recently to Entertainment Weekly about what lies ahead, and had the following to say:
“These scripts are the best scripts so far, and I’m really just excited to be back at it … There are a lot of characters right now, so there are a lot of really different personalities on set. And it’s super interesting, everyone’s really bringing it. It’s going great. It’s so dynamic because it’s so fast-paced and so complicated. It’s great to be back.”
This is not the most revealing quote in the world, but it is still enough to remind us of the faith the actors still have in the show and the people involved. Sometimes around season 5, that can start to wither. We attribute much of this now to showrunner Scott M. Gimple, given that when he was first announced as the replacement to Glen Mazzara, we were worried; however, he has managed to get the show to a whole new level.
