‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4 spoilers: The Anna / Elsa casting search continues
For those of you who are wondering whether or not “Once Upon a Time” has settled on a person to play either Anna or Elsa just yet, we have a simple answer for you: Not yet. The search for the perfect “Frozen” characters seemingly continues.
This news was confirmed further by executive producer Adam Horowitz on Twitter, who shared seemingly a sheet from the audition process for the roles. While there are no spoilers here about who is trying out for what part, there is one interesting thing to note here: The show is ensuring that there is chemistry between the two actors before booking anyone for the role. This may also mean that rather than just offering the parts to someone, everyone is having to go through at least some sort of process.
Of the two characters Elsa is the one who will play a larger role in this show’s story, and will appear in a larger chunk of season 4. Meanwhile, Anna will grace the universe in a smaller batch, and the same goes for Kristoff. (For the record, we would probably die of joy if they got Zachary Levi to play the latter role.)
At some point in July, the producers will probably have to settle on their choice, but we are certainly fine with them taking plenty of time before that. After all, the thing you really want to do is ensure that you’ve got the right people for the part, and you are not rushing into something for the sake of making an announcement soon. You do, after all, have a long span of time until the show premieres with new episodes.
If you have anyone in mind for any of these characters, we want to hear about it below! Also, click here to grab some further “Once Upon a Time” updates, or here if you want to sign up for more via our CarterMatt Newsletter.
