‘Mistresses’ season 2, episode 4 preview: Justin Hartley and more

Justin Hartley is making the rounds on ABC these days! It was not that long ago that the actor appeared in a major arc as Patrick on “Revenge,” and he has now found yet another venue in order to shine: “Mistresses.” You’ll be seeing quite a bit of him on next’s episode, which certainly has an appropriate title to go along with it in “Friends with Benefits.”

So what can you expect from this story as a whole? We figure that we will let the official synopsis below do a little bit of speaking for itself:

“Savi finds a surprising connection with a man (Jason Gerhardt as Zack) other than Dom. After a series of dating disasters, Karen hits rock bottom emotionally. April introduces Daniel (guest star Ricky Zamora) to the gang. Joss shells out big bucks so she and Harry can attend a pricey charity event to drum up business, but ends up attracting something else instead, the attentions of a handsome plastic surgeon (guest star Justin Hartley).”

It is nice to see Savi having such a complex story again, which proves that this really did not take too long at all. The question is whether or not she will end up getting stuck in here at some point as the character who routinely just ends up getting in these sort of romantic entanglements time and time again, and with not that much changing in the end. We like our stories to be a little bit more complex than that.

Still, let’s hope that “Mistresses” continues to work on its footing after a somewhat-shaky start.
