‘America’s Got Talent’ preview: Anna Clendening, other acts featured in new video
You have to love the hyperbole in almost every promo for “America’s Got Talent,” where you hear at least a few people discuss how the next audition episode of the show is going to be one of the greatest things that you see in human history. We never know if it can live up to that sort of monumental hype, but based on the promo below, Tuesday night’s show at least looks to be very entertaining.
There is at least one face in this preview that may be familiar to some internet users already in Anna Clendening. The singer has a strong following on YouTube and Vine, and seems to be front and center for one of the show’s more-emotional moments. Given that she managed to get Howie Mandel to touch another human being with his phobia of germs, it has to be a pretty big moment.
There are the typical assortment of singers, dancers, danger acts, and other quirky stuff shown off here, and so far we feel like the show has done a great job of stressing the variety aspect of things. While there are always good vocalists, we’ve had a nice assortment of comedy this year along with a creative aerial act, and a weird karate / comedy group that managed to get a golden buzzer from Howard Stern. So far, Dustin’s Dojo is the only act to receive such an honor, and we will have to wait and see if that changes tomorrow.
As always, we’ll have a full review up of the episode after it airs with some of the highlights. Are you excited to see what happens now? Sound off in the comments.
