’30 Rock’ alum Tracy Morgan will remain in hospital for ‘weeks,’ condition improving

Tracy Jordan -While Tracy Morgan is still far from out of the woods as of now when it comes to his present condition after a horrific crash early Saturday, there is finally some good news coming out Sunday. Nor only do we know that he is starting to improve, but the full extent of his injuries has been revealed.

Unfortunately, it still appears as though the former “30 Rock” star is going to remain in the hospital for a while. Speaking in a statement Sunday, his representative Lewis Kay had the following to say not just about the injuries, but also some of the support that he has received from across the entertainment community:

“While Tracy remains in critical condition, he has been more responsive today, which is an incredibly encouraging sign … He sustained a number of injuries including a broken leg, a broken femur, a broken nose and several broken ribs. He had surgery earlier today on his leg. We expect him to remain in the hospital for several weeks. His family is tremendously overwhelmed and appreciative of the outpouring of love and support from his fans.”

There were multiple injuries as a result of the crash, and it took the life of comic / writer James McNair, who worked with Morgan with his career. Many of those injured have already been released, and the driver of the limousine did not sustain anything life-threatening.

As always, we are going to have some further updates on Morgan as the news comes out. What we know for now is that the driver of the Walmart truck reportedly responsible for the crash has been charged, and the retailing giant plans to pay the medical expenses for all victims of the accident.
