‘Mistresses’ season 2, episode 1 spoilers: Boss on Savi’s state of mind
Tonight, “Mistresses” glides its way back onto ABC with all-new episodes, and being that we are not someone interested in making you wait at all, we’ve got some new scoop pertaining to one of the characters in Savi.
The journey for Alyssa Milano’s character has been a difficult one, which is probably what you would expect from someone who suffered some near-fatal injuries in a car accident. She is now one of those rare people who gets a second shot at life, and she has to sit around and wonder whether or not she is living the right way now. These questions should make for a fun season, and you can get a further explanation for this below courtesy of executive producer K.J. Steinberg’s chat with TV Guide:
“She’s more open. She realizes that she’s got a second chance at life and she’s not going to waste any time looking for the things that make her feel good. I also think that she’s in a state of confusion because of that. She’s never felt liberated like that before. She’s always been really responsible; responsible at work and being the den mother of her friends. She was the CEO of the relationship with Harry. She treated everything somewhat like a business that she was in charge of. This accident has thrown her for a loop and it’s made her vulnerable in ways that she’s never been. It’s made her feel predisposed to follow her bliss more and allow herself to be searching for the truth. She does remain very close with her friends through it all. We pick up with Savi’s choice [between Dominic and Harry] and she made the choice for reasons that will unfold. We will learn the intricacies of why she made that decision.”
We expect this season to be basically everything that fans of the show expect and then some, especially when it comes to all of the twists and turns that the show takes us down. Will we be surprised at times? We certainly hope so, and we also hope that this sort-of-new-beginning for the show is worth it.
