‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ preview: Vicki Gunvalson, house-hunter
What would anything on “The Real Housewives of Orange County” be without Vicki Gunvalson? Love her or hater her, she is one of the most-involved cast members on the show … and that includes even being very involved in her daughter Briana’s life.
In the preview video below, you learn that “being involved” can at times go so far as going all the way to Oklahoma to look at homes with her … and also marvel at the real estate prices. You can basically get a palace here for around $400,000, where a similar sort of establishment in most of Orange County would run at least double that price (if not more, if you’re on the beach). While this is certainly entertaining for us, we don’t quite imagine that it was for either Vicki or her daughter when they were going through it.
There are some other stories happening this episode, as well, and you can find out more about those in the episode’s synopsis below:
“A trip to Oklahoma causes Vicki massive emotional stress as she helps her daughter Briana look for a house. Back in Orange County, Heather and Shannon try to make sense of the massive rift in their friendship, leaving Lizzie caught in the crossfire of accusations and hearsay. Later, Tamra is shocked as she discovers that her son Ryan is possibly endangering his health by taking a potentially harmful medication without a prescription.”
So far, this season has been a little all over the place, and part of the reason for that may just be the show’s continued search for a new identity. It’s not necessarily terrible without Gretchen Rossi, but to us she. Tamra Barney, and Vicki were the anchors of the show. Without one of them, things go a little off-kilter.

Been watching housewives the last 8 years, must say Vicki has always been a favorite, she is very relatable and has gone through some rough times on the show, without her I probably would have never started watching. Heather.. Ugh. Look at how proper she is on tv, but if you read her blog she is far from it. She says the word “I” soooo much. She can’t just apologize for making people feel bad, she try’s to justify herself and play the victim. She needs off the show. #sickofhersh*t
