‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 7 spoilers: ‘The Bridge’ star joins cast as…

Who knew that today was going to be marked as such a significant one when it comes to “Sons of Anarchy” news? On the heels of learning that Marilyn Manson was officially going to be a recurring character on the show this season, we’ve now learned that a star of a separate FX series is going to be heading to Charming for some exciting stories of her own.

According to a report from TVLine, this person is none other than Annabeth Gish, who is a regular over on “The Bridge.” She will play the part of Althea Jarry, a shrewd police officer with experience in the Organized Crime Unit, throughout a portion of the seventh and final season.

Given the level of crime in the Charming / Stockton area, it is probably not even close to an understatement that Jarry is going to have her work cut out for her. She will be primarily on the scene to uncover what happened to both Eli Roosevelt and Tara at the end of season 6, and in order to get answers, may have to work more with SAMCRO than she would probably want to under most situations. That is not exactly the dictionary definition for “nice work environment.” It’s more along the lines of “always chaotic.”

For those reading into this meaning that Gish’s future on “The Bridge” is in question, don’t be. She will continue to work on the two shows at the same time.

There is not premiere date yet for the new season, but we imagine it coming (as always) around the second Tuesday of September.
