NBC’s ‘Hannibal’ season 3 spoilers: Will Hugh Dancy return as Will Graham?
Want to know the answer to at least one “Hannibal” burning question? Then read on to the rest of this article. However, you should stop now if you want to avoid anything else coming out about the upcoming third season.
At the end of the season 2 finale, we were left with one of the most epic cliffhangers to date as the fates of Will Graham, Jack Crawford, and Alana Bloom were all in question. We suppose you could say the same thing about Abigail, but we will at least presume that she’s dead for real this time.
When it comes to Will, we can also now confirm that in some form, he will return. Hugh Dancy confirms as much in a new interview with the Daily Beast:
“It’s a fair question! We will see who returns for Season 3. In the show, at this point we have an established tradition of people not dying when you think they’ve died, but there are only so many times you can get away with that. But the short answer is, yes, I am definitely back. And Laurence is back—per availability. He has a couple of other pots on the stove as far as other projects go, but there’s nobody on the show that doesn’t want him to come back. The show has to take on a pretty different shape at this point, I think.”
Laurence Fishburne does have a role on the upcoming comedy “Black-Ish,” which is one of the reasons why his future is a little bit more ambiguous. However, we feel like this is something that could be worked out presuming that he has some time off from one to work on another. The big issue is that “Hannibal” films in Toronto, so this is a little different than hopping from one set in Los Angeles to another.
