‘Royal Pains’ season 6 spoilers: Mark Feuerstein on return to form for Hank, cast
When “Royal Pains” season 6 picks up this summer on USA, there is one thing that you can basically expect to see from the show: The same flavor that you got from the series during some of its early seasons. There will still be stories to tell, but now of the same sort of super-serious nature that we had with Hank and his addiction last year.
Speaking on this matter in a new interview with E! News, Mark Feuerstein had the following to say about the stories coming up:
“[This is] a return to our former glory … Blue skies, life is good and Hank returning to his patients, hands on, one-on-one, doing what I set out to do in the first place. But there are still great arcs in this season, great conflicts, and great new characters.”
Personally, we enjoyed last season, but are still just as happy to see some of the old stuff back again. This is a show, after all, that has relied so much on being so light and cheery for much of its run. That’s what makes it fun! We find ourselves easily cheering for the characters because they represent something that is purely summer to us. You don’t have a show like it airing the rest of the season.
Now, we just have to hope that there are some better developments in the romantic lives for some of the characters. This means hopefully getting to see Hank have a new lady in his life, and also Jeremiah and Divya finally deciding to go for a relationship after spending most of last season in the “will they or won’t they?” camp.

I would appreciate it very much if no character ever again said “done and done”… among many other clichés. “Speak the speech as I pronounced it to you…” In other words, avoid “okay” “alright” and all those transitions that actors add instead of making the thought transition internally. You diminish the energy of your line by adding crap. I do love Ms. Shetty’s delivery!
