‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4: Meghan Ory, Raphael Sbarge, and others we want more of

Tonight, “Once Upon a Time” season 3 is going to come to a close, but it’s never too early to start looking forward towards the future, right? This is what this article is going to be mostly about: Who we want to see have a larger role in the upcoming episodes this fall. We’re not even going to begin to speculate on what the story could be, mostly because there is so little information out there about the show that it is impossible to know.

With all this being said now, let’s get to our list of six who deserve more opportunities to have their stories told.

Meghan Ory – “Intelligence” was canceled recently, and as a result of that, it was a little late for Ory to seemingly go out into pilot season again. Could it be possible that Ruby plays a much larger role in season 4? We would be willing to answer that with a surefire “definitely.”

Raphael Sbarge – We are doubly partial to Sbarge, since he is both involved with this show and our favorite video game series of the past ten years in “Mass Effect.” We feel like there is much more to the Archie character than has been shown, and there are constantly characters here in need of counseling.

Jamie Chung – “Believe” was canceled, and like Ory, there may be an opportunity for there to be some more Mulan this upcoming season. Given how they set up the story with her and Aurora, we cannot imagine this being abandoned.

Sarah Bolger – “Mixology” was also canceled. (Clearly, this wasn’t a good year for new shows featuring actors from “Once Upon a Time.”) You can pretty much copy-and-paste everything that we had above and put it again here.

Amy Acker – This is the hardest get, mostly because she has a regular role on “Person of Interest,” and it films on the other side of North America in New York City. With all that being said, couldn’t we have at least one more episode of Nova’s story with Grumpy to give it some closure? This goes all the way back to season 1, when there was more of a procedural element.

Sean Maguire – We imagine that Robin Hood’s relationship with Regina will allow him to have some more airtime next season, but you can never be too sure.
