ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6 spoilers: More on Nathan Fillion, Stana Katic in ‘Veritas’

Tonight on “Castle,” you are going to have a chance to see one of the sillier, lighthearted cases of the year in “That 70’s Show” that concentrates more on a fun idea and runs with it. When it comes to “Veritas,” however, you are looking at something much more rooted in serious moments and a story that could be very important to address before the Castle – Beckett wedding.

This episode airs two weeks from tonight, and in the full synopsis from ABC that was released earlier today, you can get a full sense as to what is planned for Nathan Fillion, Stana Katic, and the rest of the cast when it comes to a case tied clearly t Beckett’s past:

“A secret investigation conducted by Beckett related to her mother’s murder goes awry when a man she has been surveilling is killed. When evidence links Beckett to the victim, she and Castle become the targets of a manhunt that puts both of them in grave danger.”

What is somewhat interesting here is that the guest cast list for this press release does not include anyone notable, but the IMDb page for the episode says otherwise. (We’re not going to spoil it on this particular article for those of you who want to be in the dark.)

Regardless of who appears, the very nature of a story that brings us this far back into Beckett’s history and her personal demons is something that makes this must-watch TV. While there may be some other big stuff happening on that night, including a big episode of “The Blacklist” over on NBC, this is one that you’re going to want to watch live.
