‘Once Upon a Time’ season 3 video: The latest ‘Good Morning Storybrooke’

We have to say that we kind of love these “Good Morning Storybrooke” videos that “Once Upon a Time” is putting out. They are completely silly and unnecessary, but at the same time so much fun to watch. It’s another sign of how much the show cares on promoting themselves, and making the entire town feel like even more of a world to those who go online and watch them.

When it comes to the actual timeliness of the latest chapter, the only complaint we have is that it’s a little off. Aren’t flying monkeys old news now? Maybe, like some real news organizations, it take a couple of days for the reporters to get up to date on what is going on here. Even still, we’ll let it pass thanks to Josh Dallas being hilarious, or Regina reassuring us that it really is the Wicked Witch that is behind all of this. Almost every series regular (save for Robert Carlyle) is included here, which makes it even better.

Sunday night’s new episode is entitled “The Jolly Roger,” and at least with one story it could be somewhat of a departure from the flying monkeys. This is the chance to learn what Captain Hook was up to in the past year, which involves him going back, becoming a pirate again, and somehow angering Ariel in the process right when she thought that she and Prince Eric were on their way to making their dreams into a reality. We’re sure that somehow, Zelena and her crew are still involved here … mostly because they always seem to be in the most unusual of ways.
