‘Bates Motel’ season 2 spoilers: First look at chilling finale
“The Immutable Truth” is the title of the “Bates Motel” season 2 finale, and we have to say that this alone just sounds terrifying. With that in mind, we’re here to at least give a little more insight into what could be coming around the bend for the A&E series.
First of all, it shouldn’t really surprise you to hear that ghosts are going to play a role … at least metaphorically. Norman Bates won’t be seeing visions like Ebeneezer Scrooge, but he will still receive quite a haunting that could drive him to do some terrible things. Could these things be what further sends him on his dark trajectory? You have to believe so.
Now, let’s just go ahead and get to that synopsis (which comes to us via SpoilerTV):
“A tragic event from the past haunts Norman; Norma tries to prevent Norman from making a terrible mistake; Romero and Dylan find a way to end the drug war; Emma makes a decision about her future.”
Considering that “Bates Motel” has already been renewed for a third season, there’s no reason to go into this feeling a tremendous amount of worry for whatever reason that things will come to a screeching halt. Our major hope is just that there will be some movement, and the producers aren’t going to be so afraid at the promise of another season that they stop themselves from taking big, super-cool risks that continue to keep people talking. There needs to be one A&E series really doing that for good reasons, right?
