‘EastEnders’ sends Twitter ablaze over Lucy – Max secret revealed

You know you have a popular soap when you manage to blow up Twitter all around the world … and that is precisely what the hit “EastEnders” did on Thursday afternoon with revealing that Lucy and Max have quite a secret that they are unleashing upon the world. (The specific trending topic we are referring to here is “Lucy & Max.”)

For a while now, it has been known that the Lucy character was up to something, given that she was seen making secret calls and communication to someone. In true soap fashion, though, you had to know that this mystery man wasn’t going to be some sort of average guy on the street. It was going to be someone with huge implications on the story!

She and Max met up in a hotel room at the end of tonight’s episode, which is why you get that very gratuitous photo that we have for you above.

The next episode is going to pick up where the last one left off, and the truly bizarre part of this story is that all of this is going to be a buildup to something dramatic that many news-readers know is coming: Lucy’s death. That is an interesting perspective to watch this or really any show from: You know that there are some very dramatic things coming, and it fills you with dread as you start to piece together what in the world could be causing it. A similar comparison would be watching “Game of Thrones” after having read the books already.
