‘Once Upon a Time’ season 3 finale spoilers: The episode’s title will sound familiar

Snow -

If there is one thing that we have learned “Once Upon a Time” likes to do when it comes to their episode titles, it is inserting the word “home” whenever you are getting near the end of a journey. For example, “Going Home” happened to be the nae of the fall finale, which brought the characters back to Storybrooke after their trip to Neverland, only to realize not much later that Peter Pan still lived among them.

Now, we are learning a little bit ore about the finale for season 3 as a whole. Per executive producer Adam Horowitz’s own Twitter account, the last episode of season 3 will carry with it the name of “There’s No Place Like Home.” Obviously, it’s another “Wizard of Oz” reference, and a sign that at some point this season, some of the characters are probably going to be put out of their element in some way. It’s a nice title regardless, since it could help to tie together the entire Oz story with the Wicked Witch wrecking havoc for all of our other beloved characters.

Granted, the one thing that this title does not do a very good job of is setting up what the story for the next season is going to be. This is something that season 2 did pretty effectively, and you knew that the likes of Emma, Regina, Snow White, and some of the other characters were all going to be taking off to Neverland and this was going to be the setting for the episodes ahead. Maybe the show has similar plans this time around, but is being a little bit more coy about it.
