‘Bates Motel’ season 2, episode 4 preview: What could Caleb do to Norman Bates?

At the time you are reading this article, you are either watching Monday night’s new episode of “Bates Motel,” or it has just ended and you are already salivating over what White Pine Bay could bring you next. We’ve already seen crazy killers, suspects, and Norman struggling to deal with what happened with Miss Watson.

But with Caleb’s return to Norman’s world, he has found something new and potential painful to fixate on again. This is something that will become one of many focuses of the story next week, along with Dylan suffering from a bout of uncertainty, and Romero getting himself in a place that any self-respecting person would not be that happy with. “The fall-out from Caleb’s return causes Dylan to question his loyalty to Norma and Norman. Christine brings Norma into the White Pine social scene. Norman grows increasingly worried about Caleb’s presence in town. Romero finds himself caught in the middle of Zane’s war with a rival drug family.”

“Bates Motel” operates a short season, so one other thing to remember here as we push forward with this story is that there are only going to be six more episodes after this one before we’re at the end. So expect the story here to be pushed forward in a particularly significant way.
