‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ preview: Kandi Burruss vs. Mama Joyce … again?

We’ve been through some nasty fights on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” already this season, but are you ready for what may be at this point a blast from the past?

Remember Mama Joyce? Of course you do! This is the same woman who time and time again has tried to mess things up with Kandi Burruss and her man Todd, and she could be at it again this week thanks in part to what seems to be more or less a game of telephone about people supposedly doing things with various people that somehow makes Todd look like a bad guy. It’s all pretty hard to follow, save for one simple truth: Joyce is making a habit out of getting herself in positions where she really doesn’t need to be causing problems. Clearly, she likes to meddle, though; it’s either that or she is threatened somehow of what Kandi and Todd got going on.

The synopsis below hints at some more of this tension, in addition to a few other assorted stories about some good stuff that Kandi has coming up away from this:

“Ready to move on from the pillow talk saga, Kenya plans a grand masquerade ball for charity.Porsha pins her hopes for a future career as an actress on her make or break audition forKandi’s musical. Mama Joyce’s meddling returns with a vengeance, forcing Kandi to face what may be the biggest challenge yet to her already fragile relationship with Todd.”

Does this sound like a good episode to anyone else? We’re at least pleased to see the words “move on from the pillow talk saga,” given that a good half of this past episode was spent having to watch everyone try to blame someone else for what was going down. You have to eventually just shout “enough,” and hope that someone is actually listening.
