‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2 spoilers: Expect more Abbie / Jenny bonding
If you are to equate the relationship between Abbie and Jenny on “Sleepy Hollow” to the healing process, here is more or less how we choose to look at it. The first season of the show was by and large the two just trying to make sure that it is possible that the wounds that they’ve suffered can be haled; now that this has been figured out, they are in a position where they can actually start to function again as siblings.
Now that we know the news about Lyndie Greenwood being promoted to a series regular for the second season, which is likely also a sign that her character is making it there alive, we can focus a little bit better on what is coming up next. This is something that executive producer Roberto Orci focuses on a little bit in his statement to TV Guide, where he discusses how these two, now that they have reconciled many of their problems, may be able to push forward and find a little bit more in the way of understanding:
“Once you access a memory that’s painful, it opens the gates to others. Both of them may have experienced things together that they don’t remember that may come back. This is the gateway to what else happened before we met all these people.”
Are there still going to be problems here? Probably, and much of that likely stems from just the history of animosity and distrust that exists there. While things may be starting to get better between the two of them, Rome, or Sleepy Hollow, was not built in a day.
What do you think is going to come up on “Sleepy Hollow” moving forward for these two? We want to hear some of your thoughts below!
