‘House of Lies’ season 3, episode 3 preview: Marty feels Jeannie’s wrath

Sunday night’s new episode shows yet again what happens when you really don’t examine your variables well enough, and allow some of your own personal feelings to get in the way of business. As genius as Marty has been at times, he has failed when it comes to ensuring that his blind spot (i.e. Jeannie) is completely protected.

In the sneak-peek video, you can see Marty come to the realization that his former colleague may have actually engaged in some pretty shady tactics in order to get a leg up on him in the world of client acquisition. Not only that, but she may have used a very common high-school strategy in order to do: Starting some pretty nasty rumors about someone behind their back.

By the end of this episode, maybe we will get that moment where the two finally stop the little war of silence that they have going on, and just admit that they are deliberately going after each other in a way just to mask the feelings that they have. Sadly, that is just our own personal hope, since Marty has not exactly shown a certain keenness just yet to actually admit to anything. He has definitely had some opportunities to do so, as well, including that little moment at the end of this past episode that ended instead in him saying nothing.
