‘Criminal Minds’ season 9, episode 14 spoilers: The 200th episode, Thomas Gibson, and Paget Brewster

“Criminal Minds” has some very exciting stuff coming up … especially when it comes to the 200th episode. We know that this is the story that you are really looking forward to above anything else, and the sad news is that you’re going to be waiting for a while. The new episode will be in two weeks as a part of the February sweeps, and hopefully, it will be worth the wait. You’ll find out more about JJ, and also learn a little bit about what Mateo Cruz may be hiding.

On a different note, there are also returning guest stars! Paget Brewster will be back as Prentiss, and speaking to TVLine, showrunner Erica Messer teases that near the end of the episode, there will at least be a brief scene that features her and Thomas Gibson’s Hotch in a way that may at least make some longtime fans of the characters happy:

”There’s a moment where Hotch asks her, ‘How much longer do we have you?’ And there’s this look he gives to her that makes you feel like if she was around any longer, maybe they would have grabbed a bite to eat, by themselves.”

Does this sound great? Well in the end, the cool this about this episode is that we have a feeling that the best surprises for the time being are still under a heavy lock and key. You’re going to be forced to wait for a little while longer to figure out what that could be.
