‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 5 spoilers: An intense Paul Wesley – Nina Dobrev scene

Have you been waiting for some great stuff from “The Vampire Diaries” season 5? Then you’re going to get it during the show’s upcoming 100th episode … which is airing in just a week from Thursday!

So what can you expect? Think along the lines of emotion, drama, and intensity … with plenty of the latter. According to a report from TV Guide, Paul Wesley and Nina Dobrev in particular are going to have some awesome scenes to play in here, as Stefan plays a part in helping Katherine recall some pretty painful events from her past when it comes to the birth of her child, and also some important moments regarding her parents. Stefan and Katherine have spent a good bit of time together as of late, so can you really be surprised that they are doing so again here? He may be one of the few people who is actually sympathetic to much of her plight.

The larger mystery right now when it comes to this key episode is really just what the fate of Katherine will be. Is she going to be able to survive the entire hour, or is she doomed instead to die at some point before the end? The show has done a great job when it comes to preserving this mystery, at least in that there is not too much given away right now in the press materials that lets you know just what is going to happen with the character the rest of the way. If she does end up surviving this near-death situation that she finds herself in, it’ll be a surprise … just as it will if she ends up dying. Hats off to The CW for making it that way.
