‘The Walking Dead’ season 4 spoilers: Is the story really over with Carol?
Sometimes when we write articles about scoop for a given show, the subject matter is pretty ambiguous, and the stories are pretty complicated. This is not going to be one of those stories. Instead, we are going to cast a very simple focus on one key question when it comes to Carol and “The Walking Dead“: Are we going to see her again this season? Thus far, the status of Melissa McBride has been very hush-hush following Rick (Andrew Lincoln) kicking her to the curb, but we now have an answer for you.
According to a report from TVLine, the simple answer here to all questions related to Carol is yes. You are going to be seeing more of the character in some way, so you can stop immediately thinking (like we did at first) that she is going to depart now strictly for the purpose of joining the still untitled spin-off from Robert Kirkman. She still has some sort of story left to tell in this world.
While this news is great, you still also have to wonder the answer to one other question: How in the world is Daryl going to react to her departure? For whatever reason, the show didn’t choose to discuss the matter on-screen during this past episode, and Norman Reedus’ character just found out the truth at the very end presumably. It’s possible that this next episode could start with an angry confrontation, or, given the timing, it could pick up after the aftermath or save this for a future week. After all, we hear that Sunday night is going to have in some ways a pretty singular focus.
Personally, we’re just happy to see more Carol … regardless of when or how she shows up.
