‘Supernatural’ season 9, episode 6 video: Kevin shows his new ‘findings’ to Sam and Dean

For the first time in three weeks, “Supernatural” is going to be focusing again on the primary story of season 9 on its new episode Tuesday night, with that being the attempt by Sam and Dean to try to solve the angel crisis that is currently plaguing all of planet earth. They have their friend in Castiel out there struggling to survive (and working at a gas station, no less), and they also have to deal with the knowledge that Ezekiel is still inside Sam’s body trying to heal him. That is quite a bit to process.

So why don’t we go ahead and throw on top of that a research process? The sneak peek below brings back Kevin to the fold, where he shows Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles’ characters the results of his attempts to actually figure out what to do about the “angel problem.” The good news? That progress has been made! The bad news? It is still going to take trying to figure out how in the world you are supposed to read a tongue that is basically extinct.

Luckily, Sam and Dean have already proven themselves to be the industrious type, though we know that neither one of them has shown trips to the library to be one of their favorite pastimes. We’re sure that they will at least get a certain amount of motivation knowing that their moves are at least trying to help out Castiel, and get him in a position where he is not spending all of his time running scared, not knowing when or how someone is going to be coming at him next in an attempt to take his life. (It’s hard out there for an angel!)
