‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 5 spoilers: Another look at an upcoming mission

More scoop -While there is quite a bit taking place right now in the world of “NCIS: Los Angeles,” much of it is currently being left open to ambiguity. This is where this story comes in, which is really all about trying to parse out what is important in the upcoming seventh episode of the season, which carries with it the rather awesome title of “The Livelong Day.” If this doesn’t make you think about working on the railroad, what will?

As you may have guessed, trains are going to play a pretty integral part in the story this week, as some of the characters try to take on a very difficult case involving a terrorist attack. If you want to see a little bit more, then be sure to read the full synopsis below:

“The NCIS: LA team must notify Homeland Security when a murder investigation exposes a larger threat to a Los Angeles-based train.”

The air date of this episode is almost as significant as anything else: November 5. This means that it will be during the first week of the key network sweeps period, which is when the vast majority of the shows tend to air their big episodes. While it is unclear whether or not this is something that is going to be hugely important to the overall story, it could at least be one that proves to be a rather exciting standalone hour in its own right. So long as the quality is top-notch, we cannot say that we really mind if it is something that both starts and stops within the span of an hour.
