‘How I Met Your Mother’ season 9 spoilers: Is Barney and Robin’s next challenge a priest?

When you are about to be married, there is more or less a laundry list of people that you need to impress, starting with your future in-laws and then going on down the list. Luckily, Barney and Robin on “How I Met Your Mother” have the same friends, and there is not too much of a reason to worry about that. But the priest? This could be a little bit more of a problem.

In the promo below for next week’s “Knight Vision,” you can see the arrival of a certain holy man who is not exactly pleased with the couple for a certain commandment, which is something that Barney seems to be getting confused for something that would be better found in one of his guides for being a good “bro.” The challenge now becomes winning him over, and we all know that Barney likes to accept almost any challenge that is put in front of him. This is going to be either really silly or really funny, and we are hoping that we get a little bit of both.

And what about the Mother? There is still no sighting of Cristin Milioti, and that is what has so many fans up in arms right now. While the last few weeks have been a little on the dull side, they have not been terrible by any means. It just feels like we are stalling, and waiting for something more dramatic / important to happen. This will come before we reach the midway point of the season for sure, and possibly before that. Also remember this if you are a Mother fan: As she starts to get more and more familiar with the characters, Cristin will get involved in the story. It’s not like she will just pop up again in the last episode of the series, and she and Ted will parade off in the sunset. We’re set to at least see a little bit more of her beyond the moment when the couple first gets together.
