‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4 spoilers: Back in time with Troian Bellisario
“Pretty Little Liars” plays with time in the same way that your friend in college played with tequila: Often, and at times to insane levels, but even when you felt like they went overboard, you realize that you still love them at the end of the day.
While we have jumped back plenty of times to the days of Ali, let alone to some other times over the past several years (see “that night,” which still lives in infamy for Spencer), there have not been too many flashbacks to the night she was killed recently that revolve around the actual Liars themselves lately. That’s going to change, at least based on the latest teaser from Troian Bellisario. The photo below on Instagram should serve as all the proof that you need of this happening; it features, after all, a certain sweater that was worn on that fateful night, and it is also apparently one that Troian hilarious hates, based on her caption.
We are only a couple of weeks away now from getting more dish on the upcoming Halloween special, otherwise known as the “we really want you to also watch ‘Ravenswood'” episode. You’ll find out a little bit more about Ali courtesy of watching it, but there will also be a certain part of it designed to convince you that tuning in to the spin-off show starring Tyler Blackburn is a really good idea. As for whether or not it lives up to the hype, that remains to be seen, but Marlene King and the rest of the creative staff have been working hard on it in the same meticulous way that “A” concocts some of their own dangerous schemes with the only difference here being that the writers for “Ravenswood” aren’t trying to kill anyone.
