‘NCIS’ season 11 spoilers: First look at episode after Cote de Pablo’s exit

More news -One of the biggest tests in the entire run of “NCIS” is going to come via “Under the Gun,” and for good reason. This is going to be the first episode of the show without Cote de Pablo on board in any way since the early days of the show, and thus, it has to be extremely entertaining in order to give Ziva fans a reason to still watch.

However, for whatever reason CBS is still being pretty secretive about the content of this episode (titled “Under the Gun”), save for a few details here and there. Based on what they have actually shared, it looks to be an hour based somewhat in comedy thanks to the notion of Gibbs having to learn what social media is:

“The NCIS team must rely on Twitter for a case involving a missing Navy Lieutenant. Meanwhile, McGee misplaces his badge but withholds the information from Gibbs and the authorities.”

Does this sound funny to anyone else? This whole episode almost sounds comedic in between this and the McGee “straight out of a sitcom” plot. In reality, we know that there will be some more drama happening here than meets the eye. While Tony will still be a part of the team, his life is going to have changed pretty significantly after seeing Ziva leave. Yet, he will somehow have to focus still on all of the latest investigations. (Good luck with that.)

At the end of the day, it almost seems like poetry that there would be a story involving Twitter on the show, given that most of the cast (save for Cote, David McCallum, and Mark Harmon) are pretty active on the site.

Weatherly recently spoke about what Tony is going to be like following the exit of Ziva, and you can read some more about that at the link here. Meanwhile, be sure to keep checking back for some other “NCIS” scoop.
