‘NCIS’ season 11, episode 2 preview: Longer video for Cote de Pablo’s exit episode
You may already know that “Past, Present, Future” is kind of a big deal within the world of “NCIS.” After all, this is confirmed to be the last episode for Cote de Pablo as a series regular, and it could be the bookend to whatever happens between her and Michael Weatherly’s character of Tony. We’ve seen so much of the beginning already, but now, we are getting set to see the conclusion.
So just how many scenes is Ziva really in? Based on the extended preview below (which gives us at least ten seconds more than the premiere from yesterday), at least two. It also throws in a little bit more in the way of insight here as to why the character may not be coming back to the team, and it involves her staying off the grid now versus heading back on board a plane with Tony. She clearly knows that her life is on the line, and this may be the only way that she can think of to keep herself out of trouble.
Of course, there are probably also some other factors at play here. She has been off the team in the first place for the past several months, and within that time she may have realized everything else that is out there in the world. But to leave Tony, it has to be something a little more severe. We know that there are feelings there, and to see the two go their separate ways is going to be heart-wrenching after this much buildup. All we can hope for is a fitting conclusion, and we will learn whether or not we get that come Tuesday night.
Do you think the ending is going to be glorious, or more of a disappointment? Either way, we want to hear what your theories are in the comment box below.

I’m glad that Ziva is going to be gone. I don’t like Tiva at all. I don’t mind Cote because she seems to be nice when I seen her Rachael Ray, or ET. I just don’t like Tiva. It seems Hinky to me that the writers and people want Tony to be in an abusive relationship. Ziva assaulted Tony when they were in Tel Aviv. She threw an already hurt teammate with a sling on to the ground, pointed a gun to his chest and then leg and wished him dead. She called him dead weight, tells him what would a woman want with you and I need a shower after talking to you. She reacts to anger with her fists. She killed the guy in the elevator, she hit Ray and she assaulted Tony. If Tony was the one who assaulted Ziva when she had her arm in a sling. If he was the one who pointed a gun to her chest, leg and wished her dead. If he was the one that called her dead weight, said to her what would a man want with you and I need a shower after talking to you. Some may say that Tony deserved it, but nobody deserves to be assaulted. It’s like saying it;s a woman’s fault that she gets assaulted because of what she’s wearing and that’s wrong.

This is already breaking my heart, Cote de Pablo’s exit will definitely be hard for me to watch. Tissue time! I really hope that what she says to Tony at the airport will not be her final words. I know it is more than we have ever had but that is a very….dull line to end her final episode with. It will be sad to see her go, I know people are saying they will never watch it again…. but I know deep down that I will, even though my favorite character is gone.

This will be quite the emotional episode. I do hope they will bring her back someday as recurring. I know it was her decision to leave, but who knows? I like the show for all the characters and am excited to see what new characters will come on board.
