‘Agents of SHIELD’ episode 2 preview: What comes next, and for rest of the season?

Did you love the season premiere for Marvel’s “Agents of SHIELD” tonight? If so, we imagine you having one question right now: What in the world is going to come next? One thing that we are pleased to report is that based on the promo below, the show is not looking to skimp on the production budget now that they have made it past the pilot. It feels like we are going to be in for some great (and intense) stories ahead, and we could not be any more excited about it.

Unfortunately, the promo doesn’t really give you anything when it comes to specifics from the upcoming episodes, save for maybe convincing you as hard as possible to watch every episode from start to finish to capture all of the shockers that happen within.

Luckily, we can at least get a little bit more specific when it comes to what happens next week. The title for the episode is “0-8-4,” and you can see the full synopsis below:

“Coulson and his S.H.I.E.L.D. agents travel to Peru to investigate an object of unknown origin, codenamed 0-8-4. But when he runs into Comandante Camilla Reyes, more than just sparks fly at 30,000 feet.”

So in other words, it is not taking very long at all for the show to take on some more international destinations, though we of course use that term loosely since we are sure some TV magic is going to be involved. We at least give credit to ABC and the producers for being willing to take on something risky here with this show. It will either be a massive hit or a flop, and we will find out more come tomorrow.
