‘Supernatural’ season 9: See Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins’ ominous new poster

Check it out -There are some mysterious times coming on “Supernatural” season 9, and you can see all of that reflected in a brand-new poster that is quite possibly one of the coolest pieces of key art that The CW has put out so far this year. Are there some obvious Photoshop moments in there? Sure, since you know that these actors were just plucked into the shot from some other photos; however, the vibe of it just screams “awesome” and has us pumped for Tuesday, October 8 to just be here already. (Personally, we’re rather thrilled that the network is really going through the effort to promote the show properly.)

First of all, take a look below if you want to blow it up; it’s at that point that you can read the official slogan in “prepare for the fall.” It’s an obvious allusion to the angels coming down from Heaven, and it reminds you that this is going to be more than just a side story this year. There’s a reason, after all, why Misha Collins was made a series regular. It’s also no coincidence that our leading men are standing in front of a church.

We also should take note of the presence of Mark A. Sheppard here, as well. Even though the actor is not going to be appearing in every episode by any means (especially since he has an arc ahead on “White Collar”), Crowley is going to continue to be an important part of the show. As a matter of fact, his role may be more intriguing than ever this year as we see him struggle with Abaddon, who is attempting to reclaim Hell for herself under the belief that she comes from a far richer bloodline.

Since we want to give you even more “Supernatural” scoop, click here to see a video featuring Jared Padalecki … one where he promises that season 9 could be one of the best season that we’ve had in a long time.
