‘Hart of Dixie’ season 3 spoilers: Scott Porter on George growing up, Tansy breakup
Are we going to see a much more mature George on “Hart of Dixie” season 3? It’s certainly possible, but before we even come to that, there is a very different problem that the character faces: He has to actually start to grow up a little bit. He has dwelled within a world of being a boy first and a man second when it comes to responsibility, and this now could be the time that he changes … if anyone can find him that is. (Early on this season, the character is going to be missing in action.)
Some of the thoughts above come via the video below featuring Scott Porter, where he tries his best to explain what he imagines that the story for his character should be after the emotional journey we saw him go through with the Tansy relationship at the end of last year:
“He kind of just went off in search for himself, that’s where we left him off at the end of season 2 … You start to realize just how immature he is in personal relationships with other people. So this year, I hope that he’s gotten past most of that immaturity and growth time, and that this year we can see him become a man and start to find his way a little bit.”
So will George be hooking up with Zoe anytime soon? It doesn’t seem like it, given that her character is going to instead by getting a little closer to none other than a new character in Josh Cooke’s Joel. He may have some different priorities to sift through, which could include trying to get Tansy back.
Want to see some footage from season 3? In case you haven’t seen it yet, the extended trailer below should give you a great idea at just some of the craziness coming up in Bluebell this year.
