ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 3 spoilers: Emily Thorne versus a holy adversary

We have seen Emily Thorne take on many a troubled character on “Revenge” since the beginning of the show, but what do you do to torment someone who has already changed their ways? The question is something that we have already seen addressed on another show in “Dexter” with the Brother Sam story, and we hope personally that this has at least a somewhat-different ending than what happened there.

These questions that we are asking tie into the second episode of this upcoming third season entitled “Sin.” Based on the official synopsis released by ABC below, Emily is going to have trouble trying to reconcile the fact that a target that she is going after is someone who is now a member of the church:

“Emily’s next target takes her into unchartered, sacred terrain, now that the former Grayson Global executive is a reformed clergyman. Victoria makes a bold move with Patrick, and Margaux presents Daniel with an intriguing proposal.”

In case you are wondering just who this Margaux is, we are talking about the character played by “Pan Am” alum Karina Vanasse, who has a past with Daniel dating back to when he was in France. This is going to be an interesting story to watch develop when you remember the sole fact that Daniel is engaged to Emily, and these two really are supposed to be trying to plan out their future together. (Of course, the irony here is that Emily doesn’t mean a single word of it.)
