‘The Walking Dead’ season 4 spoilers: Rick, Daryl, and a force of nature face off

What could there possibly be to make life even worse for some of the characters on “The Walking Dead”? Considering that you already have these people forced to deal with the likes of hordes of walkers, the possible return of the Governor, and each other, you would not think that there would even be a need to add another element to the mix. However, that is precisely what we are going to see happen now.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, comic creator Robert Kirkman teases that the rest of the survivors are going to be squaring off against something related to “Mother Nature,” and is a very different sort of threat than anything that we have seen so far. What could it be? Given the location of the show’s set and the prison itself, there are a couple of interesting options here:

1. A massive flood – Maybe the remnants from a hurricane come in and destroy the makeshift living space that the survivors have created, leaving them even more vulnerable.

2. Wildfires – This may help to eliminate some of the zombies, but it also puts them in a situation where they may be forced to run … and that is never good.

3. Heat waves – When you are living in a world like this, this is the sort of problem that is much worse that it is in a real society, where you can just hide inside with your air condition. There is dehydration and so much worse that could occur.

4. Tornadoes – This is the south, and the only real positive of this is that the scary situation is over pretty quickly. However, it may also cause more damage than almost anything else on the list.
