ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6 spoilers: Stana Katic on mixing things up, Jack Coleman
If you are wondering where you can skim some hints about the upcoming sixth season of “Castle,” it appears as though one simple resource for it could be someone who knows the ins and outs of the show better than almost anyone else out there: Stana Katic. She’s seen Beckett become more than just a hard-nosed detective, and that is all due to a new man in her life that has enabled her to see a brighter side of the world, albeit with a few headaches along the way.
So while we still cannot say here whether or not Beckett and Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion) are going to last, Katic tells TVLine that if there is hope for these two to make it to the altar someday, regardless of if she accepts his proposal now, they have to be willing to go with the punches: “Real relationships are not compromised because one person is having success in their career.”
Katic also claims that the writers are “willing to take storytelling risks this season — and I think we’ve got to,” which could be another possible hint that Beckett ends up taking the job in Washington DC for at least a certain amount of time. When you look at the character and her journey, it would be silly to think that she would not consider leaping at the opportunity. Her mission statement as a detective is to help people by taking down criminals, and she will be equipped to take down even larger targets working with the government. The downside is just that she is away from Castle for the time being, and the two would need to figure out just what the future would hold for them when it comes to travel, and where they would live if this job works out.
In other reported news, Katic said that we are going to see Jack Coleman again as Senator Bracken, though we do not know when he will turn up yet.
“Castle” premieres on ABC starting on Monday, September 23, and you can click on the link here to see just some of the drama that is going to await you in that episode.

Ms. Katic has a strong and loyal following, not to mention Nathan Fillion as well. The show needs to expand the story line otherwise it becomes stale and predictable. I look forward to the new season and CB challenges, that is what makes relationships thrive anyway, provided the couple really love each other which I think is the case here.

THE CREATOR OF “CASTLE” TOOK A BOLD AND RISKY MOVE WHEN HE LET BECKETT AND CASTLE COME TOGETHER. SIMILAR SHOWS HAVE LOST VIEWERS ( LIKE BONES, MOONLIGHTING) . NOW THE TWO ARE GOING TO BE SEPARATED (I THINK) WHICH COULD CAUSE A LOSS OF THE SPARK THAT KEEPS THE VIEWERS INTEREST IN A BIG WAY. HOWEVER, MARLOWE LIKES TO THROW IN OFF THE WALL SOLUTIONS TO THEIR DILEMMA TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT. I HOPE THAT IS THE CASE BECAUSE I THINK THIS SHOW IS THE BEST IN ALMOST EVERY CATEGORY AND I AM NOT READY TO STOP WATCHING.

Never have asked for much in life but I’m afraid this show will lose me if they break up Castle and Beckett.

All the people and patient I have talked with fell that separating Castle and Beckett – even temporarily will cause viewers to begin to look elsewhere; this is more so if at least ‘living together’ is not the centerpiece of the show. Otherwise it becomes “just another” weekday tv show among many.

Katic had better learn who are fans are. Hint: They ate concerned over the shows obvious writing flaws over the last three episodes from last year and the promos for this year. Katic will find herself in the unemployment line.

I believe she has a solid grip on her fan base, as they do on her. Obviously, that would be sans you, as you really haven’t a clue.

I just got into this show a couple months ago and I’m an avid fan of Stana now. I fell in love with the show and the aspects of it and I think the writers have done and will continue to do an excellent job!
