‘Bones’ season 9 video: David Boreanaz, Emily Deschanel star in cute promo

After stunning many of their diehard fans into silence courtesy of this past season of “Bones,” it seems like the folks over at Fox publicity want to remind everyone that while we definitely saw a major setback take place for Booth and Brennan courtesy of what Pelant did to them, there are certainly no plans out there to see this couple not work it out and be together in the end.

There are a few moments in the latest season 9 promo (which you can see below) where you may literally start to question whether or not you are watching a romantic comedy, in between the music and the cute little lines. It’s also interesting that David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel’s first names are mentioned in the promo, given that you wouldn’t think Fox would want to take you out of the context of the show in their ad to remind you as to who are the people playing them.

Booth and Brennan are going to be getting married this season, and so there is no real reason to worry about that. One of the main focuses instead will just be on the “how” of that equation, and what the couple has to do in order to get themselves at a point where they are ready and able to make that commitment, and not feel as though their lives are on the line every little step of the way. There will be some help to take down Pelant and disband the threat, but as for when that will happen, you will just have to wait until Monday, September 16 and beyond to see.
