‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4 spoilers: Ian Harding promises ‘scary moments’ this Halloween

Given that the next episode of “Pretty Little Liars” is going to be the much-anticipated Halloween special, there are really just two things that you will absolutely see: Some pretty cool costumes, and some moments to make you afraid. Based on what we are seeing so far from ABC Family, they are putting forth their best efforts to really provide us with a mixture of both.

When it comes to being afraid, all you have to do first of all is listen to what Ian Harding has to say to E! News about some of the footage that he shot as Ezra (and this is without really even talking about the stunning revelation that he is affiliated with “A” in some shape or form):

“I am in Ravenswood, Mr. Fitz is in Ravenswood. To what extent will be shrouded in mystery … There are some parts that are actually legitimately scary, like really scary… So we’re going to get the thrills and the fashion and it’s going blow people’s minds. And we’re introducing new characters and all that so it’ll be fun.”

The easy assumption to make here is that some of these new faces that we are expecting to see here are not going to be a part of the “Pretty Little Liars” universe for long. They will instead transition over quickly to the upcoming “Ravenswood” spin-off show, given that immediately after the Halloween episode, we are going to transition clean over to the other show courtesy of its own premiere. “Ravenswood” has been hyped extensively both on the show and off, and its challenge will be trying to present the creep factor in a way that is year-round.
