‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 5 spoilers: What happens next for Deeks, Kensi?

When “NCIS: Los Angeles” returns to CBS with new episodes on September 24, there is going to be quite a bit of ground to cover, including trying to figure out just how Deeks is going to move forward following what is literally a pretty torturous situation.

But in addition to that, we are also set to find out some more details in regarding to what happens next with Deeks and Kensi following the kiss that happened at the end of last season. Just as you would expect, this changes things; and now, the two have to try and figure out where they are going to go moving forward. Speaking to TVLine, Eric Christian Olsen suggests that during the first episode back, the pair are going to have “the most honest conversation [that they] have ever had.”

If you’re looking for more information to go along with this, the season premiere’s not long at all following where the last season ended, which is that “[Deeks is] mid-torture, Kensi’s in peril,” and there is not a huge hope for either of them to make it through all of this an still be able to function in a day-to-day environment. However, there will be something enormous that happens near the end of the episode, and this sets up something so juicy that Olsen won’t spill any details.

We have already reported that following this episode, Deeks and many others could look to have some help to conquer their man demons, and try to continue living and working. This is going to be a long, difficult experience with the torture that Deeks has to get through, and while he may want to spend all of his time thinking about Kensi, we’re not sure if he will be able to.
