‘Glee’ season 5: Lea Michele finding solace in work, boss Ryan Murphy

What's next? -When things go wrong on “Glee,” we’ve seen from experience how creator / showrunner / overlord of the McKinley universe Ryan Murphy ends up being the person that takes the brunt of the insults and criticism. However, he’s also someone who deserves a good amount of praise when things go right, and this should apply to what happens on set as well as how he takes care of his cast.

While the man is always busy when it comes to his million different jobs, doesn’t forget one of the reasons for his level of success post-“Nip/Tuck,” and is kind and nurturing to some of the people who helped to get him there. For one example, just look at the tweet below from Lea Michele about some of the time she recently spent with Ryan this week away from work:

“Beautiful dinner tonight at @MrRPMurphy‘s house… I ❤ him so much..”

The reason that there is some extra significance revolving around this event is that it does follow a bevy of other reports that Michele is helping Murphy and the “Glee” writers come up with the proper way to tell the death of Cory Monteith’s Finn that is devastating, but at the same time not not making viewers feel hopeless for the other characters. This tribute episode to the late actor, the third of this upcoming season, is going to be the most difficult one that any of the cast and crew ever do.

Based on some other photos that have been shared, Michele has already been on set, as has Naya Rivera and many other longtime cast members. The Cory tribute will come in the weeks ahead, and following that there will be a brief production hiatus in order to get everything together for the future and then press on ahead.
