‘The Walking Dead’ season 4 spoilers: A new character and possible romances

When you think about “The Walking Dead” and romance these days, it is basically inevitable that there is really only one set of names that is going to come to mind: Glenn and Maggie. They are the lovebirds, and the people that everyone looks to as a symbol of hope in what is a pretty downtrodden world.

But could another symbol shockingly emerge in the middle of all the wreckage? It is looking more and more like it. This is someone that somehow has not been a significant subject of conversation in the press thus far, but could have an important role in almost everything that happens. For more on that, just turn to showrunner Scott M. Gimple, and his new comments published today by IGN:

“We have a character we haven’t talked much about, this character Zack played by Kyle Gallner (Veronica Mars, Smallville). He has a romantic relationship with one of the characters. That’s a way very quickly that you get to know him. He’s not one of our major new characters, but you get to know a lot about him real quick.”

Meanwhile comic creator Robert Kirkman also teased something that is far and away a deadly threat for these characters, even though it may not be something that we would necessarily fear on the same level in our everyday lives. As for what that could be, mum’s the word … but it will almost surely raise the body count.
