‘Teen Wolf’ season 3 spoilers: A new and surprising threat, a new mythology
While we have heard plenty when it comes to “Teen Wolf” season 3 and the Alpha pack for the summer season, there is a mysterious sort of fog (almost like the one in the theme song) that is floating over the second half of the season, which is set to premiere with new episodes of its own come January.
So what are we going to be seeing? How about a new threat that has its own sort of deep history, the kind of which you do not typically see on a “teen”-geared show? According to a new report from E! News, what we are going to be looking at is a new character played by Arden Cho, whose role is going to be steeped heavily in some Japanese mythology. This is something completely different from what we’ve seen on the show in the past, and it is really just the tip of the iceberg.
As you may have heard back during the show’s season 3 Comic-Con panel, executive producer Jeff Davis is going for a heavy Asian influence through the second half of the season, which suggests to us at the moment one thing about all else: The show may be wrapping up at least some of the story with Deucalion now. If they try to include the Alpha storyline into what we are going to see with this new character, we could have what we would affectionately like to refer to as a wolf explosion.
What do you think about the idea behind this character, and are you thrilled to be seeing something this refreshing coming to the show? If you want to see a preview for next week’s episode along with some other goodies, just be sure to visit the link here.

Well, we already know she is going to be named Kira and she will be a kitsune. That actually doesn’t answer any questions because they are by nature tricksters but they can be good or evil. And even if they are good, they are sort of testing the worthiness of the main character (I theorize upon news of Scott achieving True Alpha status, other shapeshifters, sort of a NATO group, want to see if he is truly a good guy or just happens to be timely and the best of werewolf at that time and she is sent to test him, look up the story of the fox and the brothel – and imagine some more modern test because Scott would pass that one with flying colors, but there are some other ones that might be a challenge for a seventeen year old). I think during said testing, she either starts to fall for Scott or Isaac.
