‘Bones’ season 9 spoilers: How does a face from Booth’s past turn up?
Luckily, you may have heard already about how the saving grace of Booth and all in the name of what is good in the world will be coming in the form of Booth’s former priest Aldo Coulter, who shows up carrying with him some valuable insight into how to get this man back on track (and back going down the altar). For more on that, check out executive producer Hart Hanson’s comments via TVLine:
“We left Booth with a terrible secret that he can’t tell anyone, which is that Pelant is not letting him marry Brennan. And that, in effect, is a lie for a Catholic like Booth every time he’s talking to Brennan. So he finds himself seeking out his old spiritual advisor, who now runs a bar, to talk things out. They have a very close relationship. As Coulter points out to Brennan in the premiere, he knows Booth better than she does.”
Surprisingly, this character has yet to be cast, but they will need to figure it out pretty soon, given that production is pretty much now at the point where it has to start back. Our personal hope? That this story is so amazing that Fox executives will smack themselves on the head and call themselves crazy for ever allowing this show to move to Fridays.
Oh, and for all of the romantics out there, there is some more scoop on the Booth / Brennan wedding available for you over here.
