‘The Walking Dead’ season 4: Glenn and Maggie the focus of special new image

The Walking Dead, Lauren CohanWith “The Walking Dead” celebrating ten years of the Robert Kirkman creation at Comic-Con this week, AMC apparently decided that this was also the best time to really promote the heck out of their hit show. We’ve seen a few posters and some other promotional material already, but today, we have for you a poster featuring Glenn and Maggie that really reminds us that there is light in this story.

This image below was first posted by Entertainment Weekly, and it features Lauren Cohan and Steven Yeun’s characters front and center in a romantic embrace.

For fans of the couple, this is pretty good news that the two are going to be able to fight for each other moving into the new season. We’ve heard some rumors of tension forming between the couple, with the primary reason for that simply being that Glenn does feel a sort of need to protect Maggie more so than she really wants to be protected. That always makes for a difficult situation, and we’re sure that there will be plenty more in the way of tension from elsewhere bearing down on them.

With all of this being said, we’ve always been confident to a certain extent in Glenn and Maggie’s ability to figure out where their relationship stands, and how to move forward with it in a complicated world. In some ways, we really need them to figure it out as viewers, since they really represent hope on this show in a way that few other characters really do.
