Jimmy Kimmel, One Direction have fun … and Harry Styles loses his pants

We know that it is sometimes the cool, hipster thing to do to sit around and say that boy bands aren’t cool, or that celebrities are egomaniacs and don’t want to embarrass themselves on TV. But you have to give One Direction some credit here: Their scavenger hunt on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” is pretty hilarious, and most other big-name teen idols in their position would have never been game enough to do this.

All five of the boys here are genuinely pretty funny, as they try to complete what are three very silly missions. We won’t spoil all of them here for those of you who have not already watched the video a few hundred times, but let’s just say that it involves the following things: Toothpaste, funny voices, and Harry Styles wearing no pants. (Teenage girls everywhere, you’re welcome.)  The guys do all seem to genuinely like each other, which we imagine is rather difficult sometimes given that they are currently on tour around America, and when you spend this much time together, there will inevitably be moments where you want to Hulk smash each other.

As for Kimmel, this adds to what is a pretty impressive run of great videos that the man is doing lately. His Matt Damon takeover has drawn Emmy buzz, his “Baby Bachelor” spoof received rave reviews, and his song “I Wanna Channing All Over Your Tatum” has gone viral with the help of Jamie Foxx and some of the other guest stars who appear.
