Jimmy Kimmel recruits Miley Cyrus, Olivia Munn for Channing Tatum video
Only Jimmy Kimmel could turn a bit about Channing Tatum’s name not only into sexual innuendo, but an extended music video. If you remember, the idea for “I Want to Channing All Over Your Tatum” was first conceived earlier this year with the help of Jamie Foxx, and now he and the “Magic Mike” star are back for a full-fledged (and pretty hilarious) music video that seems to make fun of all parties equally.
This video features what is a pretty star-studded cast straight from the get-go, as you have “The Newsroom’s” Olivia Munn showing a complete and total willingness to make silly facial expressions. You also have Gabourey Sidibe playing the obsessed teenage fan, and Miley Cyrus getting trapped under a vending machine. We don’t want to give away the context here for those of you who want to be surprised, but look out in here for a cameo from Jimmy’s longtime “nemesis” Matt Damon. Tatum also raps in the video, while Foxx handles the singing and Kimmel wonders what in the world is going on.
above all else, we just have to give Channing some serious credit for willing to make fun of himself to such a major degree. This is not always a particularly easy thing to do when you see yourself become a star, but he pulls it off with relative ease. Granted, it always helps when he continues to land new movie roles and has reasons to make these and promote what’s coming up.
What’s your take on this video, and is there one celebrity cameo that you appreciated the most? If you want to check out some more Kimmel craziness courtesy of the NBA Finals, our advice is to head on over to the link here.
