‘The Bachelorette’: Desiree Hartsock talks Sean Lowe, antagonized by Jimmy Kimmel

Given Jimmy Kimmel’s track record when it comes to picking contestants on “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” to win, we have to start this off with a warning: If you are afraid of a certain late-night host being right with his picks, you better stop reading this article now.

To be honest, we don’t know why ABC lets Kimmel get away with his “predictions” segment anymore for this show. Either the man is a sage of predicting dating shows, watches the whole season in secret before the interviews, or has someone tell him what happens prior to one of the show’s stars coming on to talk about it. For the past several seasons, he has correctly predicted almost every member of a Bachelor or Bachelorette’s final three / four, and even told Sean Lowe earlier this year that he would pick Catherine Giudici, despite their being little evidence of it.

So watching Jimmy talk with Desiree Hartsock about her upcoming season lets a little bit of air out of the show’s tires. We’re not saying that the predictions that Kimmel makes in part 2 of the video below are right, but the man is on a serious winning streak and we’re sure that some out there would actually prefer to watch the show without any outside informative bleeding in.

To Desiree’s credit, she does not give anything at all away in the interview, and instead mostly just comes across as nervous. She also comes across as very real (which is nice for a change), but does not necessarily have the same sort of charisma as either Sean or Emily Maynard. She does admit to Jimmy that she probably would have accepted Sean’s proposal had she made it to the final two last season, but ultimately says that it was for the best that her brother said some of the controversial things that he did to keep her from going any further on in the season.
