MTV’s ‘Awkward’ season 3 spoilers: A new sort of showdown for Jake and Tamara

In a recent article about an upcoming “Awkward” season 3 episode, we teased that there was going to be a pretty interesting story regarding the arrival of something that always matters a ton to high school students, but very little to anyone else: Student council elections. Based on the information that we now have coming in, the race for the coveted parts in office is definitely going to be even more exciting than we ever imagined at first.

According to a report from Zap2It, this very election is going to feature two people who may not be altogether willing to run an ugly race against each other: Jake and Tamara. After all, aren’t the two of them a little bit busy trying to suck each others faces off to really worry about something as silly as student elections? You probably know the answer to that already.

In addition to these two, the show is also casting a geeky kid named Myles, who is also going to be going up against the two of them. Of course, it’s hard to really imagine that he has much of a chance in the slightest of taking down these two titans, but his status as an innocent bystander to these two “lovers” (if you can call people in high school that) going at it in debates should make for some great entertainment.
