ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 2, episode 20 preview: Aiden questions everything

Is revenge something that is really worth pursuing? All season long on the hit ABC show, the answer to that question has been a pretty clear and decisive yes, but there is something that is starting to make Aiden really question whether or not this is something that is actually worth trying to obtain anymore.

What is the logic for that? In the sneak peek below for Sunday night’s “Engagement,” he explains that he really does not feel any closer to solace than he has before he started up his own revenge quest, and he wonders whether or not Emily is going to find any solace at all in what she does other than suffering. Nolan warns him, however, that doing so will in turn force her to lose almost everything that has driven her life.

While we don’t know whether or not Emily will give up on her quest, this sort of internal struggle is going to remain a key question moving into next week’s season finale, especially when you consider the fact that there will be some sort of sacrifice that happens as a result of the actions taking by the show’s characters. To be specific, someone close to Emily will die, and it will devastate her life in the many months to come.

Also in this video, Aiden advises Nolan that the best thing that he can do is wipe out the bank account for the Graysons’ foundation, mostly since he will be in huge trouble the moment the family figures out who he really is. Nolan claims that he is unsure if he will be able to help him, but Aiden responds by saying that he was not asking him to do help in the first place.
